First review in a while, so I’m a little rusty. In light of it being horror month, I decided to go back to my roots and review an old Italian zombie movie. So, with a heavy sigh, I dusted off my copy of Zombie Holocaust and put it into the DVD player. Read the rest of this entry

The Fly (1986) – Review
Director: David Cronenberg
Stars: Jeff Goldblum, Geena Davis, John Getz
David Cronenberg’s The Fly is a masterpiece. Transformers: Dark of the Moon – Review

Director: Michael Bay
Stars: Shia LeBouef, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, John Turturro
It could have been worse. I’m not saying it was a good movie, but it definitely could have been worse. When the first Transformers film came out in 2007, it was new and interesting. None of us has seen anything like it, and the transformation effects in the film were superbly done. I think I was 12 when it came out, and I remember how we all loved it.
Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror – Review

Director: Andrea Bianchi
Stars: Karin Well, Gianluigi Chirizzi, Simone Mattioli
Here’s the wikipedia introduction to this:
Burial Ground: Nights of Terror (Le Notti del terrore) is an Italian grindhouse zombie movie directed by Andrea Bianchi with cult status, primarily due to its low production values and the casting of a middle aged dwarf as a child in an incestuous relationship with his mother.
Yes. Those are the two reasons this film is entertaining. Somehow it works, but I’m baffled as to how.
